About the Role
The Factory Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves leadership, process optimization, and strategic planning to achieve production goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to meet production targets.
- Ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards and implement quality control measures to address deviations.
- Monitor and manage production costs, optimizing resource utilization while maintaining cost-effective operations.
- Manage inventory levels, order raw materials, and ensure efficient stock control to meet production demands.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality management.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and systems.
- Leadership: Effective leadership skills to motivate and guide the factory team toward achieving production goals.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to convey expectations, plans, and objectives to employees and senior management.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Decision-Making: Sound decision-making skills to make timely and informed choices that benefit the organization.
