About the Role
The Factory Accountant will play a critical role in managing financial transactions and records related to our factory operations. This position requires strong accounting skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work closely with the finance and production teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for factory-related transactions, including expenses, inventory, and production costs.
- Analyze production costs and variances, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Assist in the preparation and management of factory budgets, tracking actual expenses against budgeted amounts.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a relevant accounting role.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in using financial and spreadsheet applications.
